Went for my year follow up from my second knee replacement. Dr. Boese, my surgeon has retired so my appointment was with their new replacement for him, Dr. Satterly. Definitely not a personable doctor. I was not impressed. He spent a total of about 3 minutes with me. Didn’t even bother to introduce himself to me. He told me the follow up was basically just X-rays. Seemed like I was wasting his time and a bother. If I had still needed a knee replacement, I would’ve looked elsewhere for a surgeon. Not impressed with this one. Very thankful Dr. Boese was there when I needed him. The rest of the staff was wonderful. *Not sure why this review deleted my prior one with Dr. Boese. It was 5⭐️ with Dr. Boese. He replaced both of my knees. Was very knowledgeable, caring and competent. I had a wonderful experience with him through both knee replacements. So my first review was for him and was five stars. My review from today with their new doctor not so much. -

Awful experience. Got lost driving all over looking for this place in the tank I drive and spent about $60 in gas to get here. Made me strip down to my undies & bra for the whole appointment. That was after sitting in lobby for an hour & filling out a mound of paper work. Lady who made appt. for me said come in to get out of pain. That was about a joke. This place did nothing to help me get out of pain. no injections, no massages, no medicines, no nothing. I got lectured and questioned on all my responses and felt very awkward sitting there in my panties and bra. Then had to drive clear back home crying in pain. Knew this would be a waste of time after reading the reviews and it was a waste of time and very humiliating. The 1 medicine this Dr offered, I already had some of that here & thought I would try it out again, well it gave me massive heart burn to where I almost ended up in ER all weekend. Wanted to go to grave this weekend which is deceased relative birthday weekend but not I got to lay here dying in pain and with massive heart burn. Gee thanks. Now I know where they get the Idiots Out Wandering Around, saying from. IOWA> I say this because as the Dr left the room he felt the need to scream Go Council Bluffs all the way down the hall as if someone coming into Iowa for help was a big deal. Well everywhere I go I see Iowa people hogging up our roads, stores, doctors and whatever else they feel like. But when someone from here travels into Iowa they get to deal with this. Does it really matter where I am from? I was there for help and you failed to help me. -

Worst doctor office in council bluffs. They are stealing money charging thousands of dollars for a simple dressing and consolation. They should be ashamed of what they are doing taking advantage of people who need help it’s a scam. The doctors will rarely do anything to help but insist you come to the appointment just to charge you and tell you they don’t recommend anything more. They are worthless and do not serve the community. -

I had an appointment at the Omaha office when I suggested to them while making the appointment I would prefer c b , but the ladies suggested I go to the Omaha office bc my insurance was Nebraska. WTH. Then I had to wait over an hour for the d r to get there bc he was at the cb location. Didn’t feel as if we were welcomed appropriately. They had a tv but said we couldn’t turn it on bc they couldn’t find the remote??? I would suggest going to the council bluffs location no matter how much longer of a drive it is , the Omaha location was not inviting. -

One of, if not THE worst doctor office I have ever had to attend. Did nothing for my back or to facilitate recovery from being grabbed by a conveyor belt at work. prolonged care for 3 months never requesting imaging like I asked for. Discharged me from his care after telling me he needed to refer me to another specialist. The falsities he wrote down for my presentations have made it impossible to get further care. Herniated disc was untreated the whole time I was in his care. I had to attend my childhood PCP to receive a referral to a spine specialist. Still to this day I am unable to work from my injury almost a year ago. Living with my injury and symptoms has gotten progressively worse. When does non-treatment and misdiagnosing the issues, refusing to ask for further imaging turn into malpractice that produced months of pain and suffering with permanent injuries? My injury was 12-19-22 and I have still been unable to use my left side or return to work. His notations got my work comp denied and have had to use my personal insurance to try and recover to not have permanent injuries from the incident. When calling in 9/2023 the office to ask what a herniated/ bulging disc would need all the office ladies up front advised it would need MRI imaging at MINIMUM. Yet I was in his care for 3 months, referred for imaging and never received any further imaging. The person that had to sit in to mediate the meeting even inquired about imaging. Dr. LaRose said it was a sprain and PT would take care of it. After 3 months of physical therapy and no recovery he sent me back to work with no restrictions unable to use left side. How is that care or progress? -
