Dr. Michael Stojanovic is a Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in Total Joint Arthroplasty & Adult Reconstruction Surgery of the hip and knee. He comes to the Council Bluffs, IA and Omaha, NE area as of September 2022. By staying at the forefront of modern advancements and techniques in his field, Dr. Stojanovic offers the best in patient care and safety with an emphasis on patient-centered practices, successful outcomes, and improvement in patient quality of life. Through a collaborative approach with his patients and attention to detail, he and his staff ensure the utmost care surrounding all joint replacement procedures. Through his extensive training, he provides a breadth of techniques including minimally-invasive total joint replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, direct superior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement in both the primary and revision setting. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI), Dr. Stojanovic went on to receive his medical degree at Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities campus) before having the privilege of partaking in his Fellowship specialty training at the NorthShore Orthopedic & Spine Institute (Chicago, IL). Outside of his surgical practice he finds enjoyment in some of his favorite activities, which include spending quality time with his family and friends, playing recreational volleyball, expanding his indoor plant collection, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and going to the gym.
